Adopt A Street |
These are quarterly events that generally take place on a Saturday morning between 9am and noon. The coordinator will be responsible to choose the dates in coordination with the ANA board, arrange for light refreshments and bring the materials to and from the event. 4th of July Kids Parade |
This is a tremendously popular event for families and individuals in Admiral and throughout West Seattle to celebrate the 4th of July. The ANA is proudly partnering with a long tradition and great parade leadership. The parade ends at Hamilton Viewpoint and various groups have booths, activities, food, etc. We would like to have a booth with family friendly activities this year ... but we need help. Junktion Funktion |
On Saturday August 26th from noon till 9pm and after we will be hosting the 2nd Annual block party type event along California Ave between Admiral Way and College Street. The neighborhood restaurants, businesses and other groups will be joining forces to celebrate the end of Summer with specials, booths, a main stage of all day musical talent. West Seattle Art Walk |
The 2nd Thursdays West Seattle Art Walk is one of the longest running art walks in the city of Seattle. Every month dozens of venues hosts artists, live music, and/or food and drink specials from the Admiral Junction all the way to the Morgan Junction as well as numerous other spots around the peninsula. This only happens because of the army of volunteers working behind the scenes. Whether is is handing out materials to the participating businesses or taking photos on the night of the Art walk, there are many ways you can volunteer to keep the arts alive in West Seattle.
